Diocese of Allentown Clergy Abuse Resources and Records
This guide gathers public disclosure, reporting, survivor support, and court-record resources concerning the Diocese of Allentown. It links to official records without reproducing names or allegations. A listing, report, allegation, investigation, or lawsuit does not by itself prove criminal conduct or civil liability.
Diocesan records and policies
The Diocese’s Youth Protection page links to its reporting instructions, abuse-prevention policies, and resources. Its Charter Compliance and Additional Information page includes a diocesan disclosure section and links to the Diocese’s response to the statewide grand-jury report. The Diocese’s administrative labels and statements should be read as such; they are not a substitute for court findings or case dispositions.
The Diocese also publishes its policies and procedures regarding allegations of sexual abuse. That document describes the Diocese’s stated response process and victim-assistance role.
Reporting and survivor assistance
If a child is in immediate danger, call 911. Pennsylvania ChildLine accepts reports of suspected child abuse 24 hours a day at 1-800-932-0313; reports may also be made to local law enforcement. The Diocese lists its Victim Assistance Coordinator at 1-800-791-9209. For reports involving a bishop, the Diocese directs people to ReportBishopAbuse.org or 1-800-276-1562. Bishop-reporting channels do not replace ChildLine or law-enforcement reporting.
Grand-jury and court records
The Pennsylvania Attorney General’s 2018 40th Statewide Investigating Grand Jury Report includes a section on the Diocese of Allentown. It was an investigative report about six dioceses, not a verdict against every person or institution discussed. The Diocese has published a response to the report. For individual case information, use the Pennsylvania Unified Judicial System case-search portal and review the docket for charges, findings, and disposition.
