Diocese of Greensburg Clergy Abuse Resources and Records
This page brings together official Diocese of Greensburg disclosure, reporting, survivor-support, and child-protection resources, along with public Pennsylvania records. It points readers to original sources and does not repeat names or allegations from disclosure materials.
Diocese of Greensburg clergy disclosure page
The Diocese publishes a list of clergy with claims it classifies as credible and substantiated. The page explains the Diocese’s own review criteria and was published in August 2018; it also says the list may be changed over time. A diocesan classification is the Diocese’s assessment. By itself, it is not a criminal conviction or a civil-court judgment. For the wording, context, and any updates, consult the Diocese’s page directly.
Reporting abuse and getting support
The Diocese’s Report a Concern to ChildLine page lists diocesan contacts, including its Victim Assistance Coordinator at 724-837-1840, extension 1655, and the Delegate for Matters of Clergy and Church Personnel Sexual Misconduct at 724-837-0901, extension 1221. Contact details can change; check the official page for current information. The Diocese also provides abuse and trauma resources, including counseling information.
If a child is in immediate danger, call 911. Anyone may report suspected child abuse in Pennsylvania to ChildLine at 1-800-932-0313, available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Diocese’s page describes its process for employees and volunteers who must report; public reporting information is available from Pennsylvania DHS.
For reports involving a bishop, the Diocese points to Catholic Bishop’s Reporting Services. The Diocese says this service is for reports of sexual abuse and related misconduct by bishops; its page directs reports concerning priests, deacons, church staff, or volunteers to the local diocese’s victim-assistance office.
Policies, investigations, and court records
The Diocese’s Protecting God’s Children page describes its child-protection policies and training. Review the original policy materials for their dates and scope.
Pennsylvania’s Office of Attorney General provides the statewide grand jury report concerning clergy sexual abuse in six dioceses as a public PDF. Read the report itself for its scope, sources, and conclusions. A grand jury report is an investigative source and should not be treated as a court’s finding about every person or institution.
Pennsylvania’s Unified Judicial System offers public case search for available docket information. Dockets summarize case activity and may not include every record or explain the full context or outcome. Confirm details in the underlying court record before relying on them.
Related Greensburg survivor information
Our separate Greensburg clergy abuse survivor guide provides local assistance contacts and general information about possible legal options. Filing deadlines and available claims depend on current law and individual facts. For statewide information, see the Pennsylvania survivor-rights guide.
