Pennsylvania Deadlines for Potential Online Exploitation Claims
A filing deadline can affect whether a civil claim may proceed. The answer is not determined by a platform’s name alone. It may depend on a claimant’s age, the nature and timing of the conduct, the claims asserted, accrual rules, the defendants, and other procedural issues.
Pennsylvania law
Under 42 Pa.C.S. § 5533(b)(2)(i), an individual entitled to bring a civil action arising from sexual abuse who was under 18 when the cause of action accrued has 37 years after reaching age 18 to commence an action for damages. The statute includes qualifications and definitions. Whether it applies to a particular claim involving an online platform requires legal analysis of the facts and pleadings. This page is not a deadline calculation.
Read the current Pennsylvania statute. Do not assume that the same time limit applies to every claim or defendant. Criminal prosecution deadlines and civil filing deadlines are separate questions; one does not necessarily resolve the other.

A lawyer can assess the person’s age, dates, alleged conduct, claims, and applicable law. Preserve ordinary account and reporting records safely. Do not copy or share sexual images or videos involving a minor. No page can determine eligibility, calculate a deadline, or promise a result.
