Maryland Roblox Child-Safety and Abuse Claims
Logue Law Group reviews potential civil claims for Maryland families after alleged grooming, sexual exploitation, or assault connected to a Roblox interaction. A child’s safety and access to support come first. A troubling interaction, a platform report, and a viable civil claim are different matters, each requiring its own response.
What a Roblox Abuse Case Review Examines
Counsel considers how contact began, the young person’s age, relevant dates, whether communications moved to other services, the alleged conduct of each potential defendant, and the harm claimed. Available records and applicable defenses matter. The firm does not assume that every account holder has a claim or that every platform involved is legally responsible.
Federal Litigation and Individual Claims
MDL No. 3166 coordinates certain federal child sexual exploitation and assault cases in the Northern District of California. The December 12, 2025 transfer order describes allegations; it is not a liability finding, an automatic enrollment process, or a compensation program. Different online harms may follow different legal paths.
Maryland Filing Questions
Maryland Courts and Judicial Proceedings section 5-117 permits qualifying claims arising from childhood sexual abuse without the usual time limit, subject to its statutory exception. It also contains restrictions on some damages and fees. Whether a particular platform claim falls within the statute requires analysis; unrelated injury claims can have different deadlines. Read the official statute. Do not calculate a deadline from a website alone or wait for a criminal investigation to finish before obtaining civil advice.
Local Care, Records, and Venue
Identify the counties and states where the child lived, used the accounts, received care, and made reports. Those locations can help identify records; they do not automatically determine the correct court. The National Children’s Alliance county coverage maps offer a starting point for finding child advocacy resources. Confirm current service areas and referral requirements directly. The listed organizations are independent of the firm.
Safety and Records Come First
If a child faces immediate danger, call 911. Stop harmful contact; do not keep a child exposed to collect proof. Record ordinary identifiers, approximate dates, report numbers, and the names of services involved. Do not investigate or confront a suspected offender, access accounts without permission, or ask a child repeated or leading questions.
Do not download, copy, forward, upload, or email sexual images or videos involving a minor. Do not attach them to a law-firm inquiry. If such material exists, seek safe handling instructions from law enforcement. NCMEC’s CyberTipline information explains reporting suspected online child sexual exploitation. Reporting and legal consultation are separate steps.

Request a Private Case Review
Call 412.387.6901 or request a consultation. Use the inquiry form only for basic contact information and a general request for a Roblox case review. Do not send passwords, medical records, explicit material, or unnecessary identifying details about a child. Ask the firm about secure delivery of appropriate records. An inquiry does not create representation, file a lawsuit, or stop a deadline. Acceptance requires conflicts and attorney review and an agreement with the firm.
